Condolences to the Hepp family, I (and many others),
had the pleasure of getting to know Melvin and Arlene in recent years as hospital staff. I was struck by what a gentle and kind person Melvin was. It is so rare to never have a cross word out of frustration but he had endless patience with us. I will remember him for his quiet courage in illness and his quick smile that always made our day brighter.

Our sincerest condolences to Arlene and the kids on the loss of such an honestly good and decent man.I will always remember how Melvin would tell me how Poncho(the too-big-for-town-black-Lab the Hepps had "adopted" from us)would stalk the ducks in the dugout, catch the occasional one and bring it to the back door!
Hopefully, many happy memories will comfort you.
Take care of each other.
