John Lawrence Weinrauch passed away quietly on March 4, 2019 at the age of 76 with his family by side.

He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta of 56 years; children Mellissa (Allan) Smith of Coronation, Curtis (Leslie) Weinrauch of Grande Cache, Charla (Nancy) Weinrauch of Edmonton;  4 grandchildren Ashley (Jared) of Consort, Geoffrey (Kelsey) of Coronation, Amy (Jeff) of Edmonton and Brandon (Alysia) of Edmonton as well as many other relatives and dear friends.

John was born in Torquay, SK on May 13, 1942 to Anton & Clementine Weinrauch, the 9th child of 11.  After leaving home, John went to work on the service rigs in 1959.  He moved to Coronation in 1970 where he resided until his passing.  John enjoyed fishing and going for coffee with his friends.  He was always tinkering on something from lawn mowers to tractors which kept him busy.

Many thanks to the staff of Coronation Hospital, Dr. Susan Shenouda and Dr. Noelle O’Riordan for the excellent care they provided.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or to the Home Away From Home Room(Coronation Hospital) in care of Parkview Funeral Chapels & Crematorium.

Loretta, Mellissa, Curtis and Charla - We just learned of John's passing, please know we are thinking of you at this time. I'm sure John has already caught up with mom and dad and they are sharing stories over coffee and cinnamon buns. May time help heal the pain you are now feeling.
Paul and Joan
