Geoffrey C. L. Dean
January 15, 1985 – August 16, 2018
Geoffrey Charles Lawrence Dean was taken from us without warning on August 16th, 2018. He was loving, thoughtful, calm and heroic until the end. A reflection of how he lived his life.
He is survived by his wife Louella and his parents Dana and Vera Dean of Castor, AB; his father in law Dean Cassells of Galahad, AB; his grandmother Lauretta Baker of Liscomb, NS; many family members; and an ever-growing circle of friends.
Geoffrey was born in Truro, NS, on January 15, 1985. As part of a military family, he relocated from Bible Hill to Dartmouth, NS, then to Oromocto, NB, Chilliwack BC, and finally to Windsor ON where he graduated from Riverside High School in 2003. His first career was as an organist at St. Paul’s Church and later at Canterbury College at the University of Windsor. In 2011, he moved to Edgerton, AB to be close to his parents where he managed the Mobile Shop in Lloydminster. Two months later he met Louella and the two were soon inseparable. In June of 2012, Geoff moved to Castor and began working at F.C. Hunt Agencies where he put all his skills to use. Geoff and Louella were married in Galahad, AB on July 5, 2014, and then it was “onward to adventure.”
Time is our most precious gift because we only have a set amount of it. Geoff was kind and generous giving his time so freely to others. We carry Geoffrey in our hearts when we follow the example he set. Why wait when you could do it now. And do it with a smile.

To my sister . L... It's with a very heavy heart and many feelings I cannot even express, I start to cry for your pain and the tablet screen is starting to get blurry. Yes , Geoff has a great soul, and is not gone. In a moment that our mother And I had alone before she passed, she expressed, don't cry for me, soon I will see my mom and dad. I truly believe that Geoff would have embraced the moment and rise again. Take solace and play one of his favorite songs while driving down the road and I'll bet, and hope you get a smile . And I'll take the sad cry. Love you.

Deepest Sympathy to Geoff's family. We have just learned of Geoff's passing. We got to know Geoff when he lived and worked in Windsor, Ont. as a kind and gentle friend. We were sorry to see him leave Ont. but happy he was back with his family. Geoff sent us notice that he had met the love of his life and continued to send us pictures of his beautiful wedding. We are deeply saddened by his passing and hope the memories of his life will give you peace.
